Description
A deep cosmic energy permeates this composition. Intense shades of ultramarine create a vast, nocturnal void. White splatters dance across the canvas like distant star clusters. The atmosphere feels electric and expansive.
At the center, a violent eruption of color breaks the silence. Bold strokes of yellow and red clash in a rhythmic frenzy. These gestural marks suggest a sudden burst of light or a volcanic surge. The movement is raw and instinctive.
White pigments sweep across the lower half in fluid, sweeping arcs. They evoke the crashing of a wave or the drift of celestial clouds. This contrast between the dark background and luminous foreground generates a powerful visual tension.
The technique blends precision with chaos. Every drip and splatter adds a layer of emotional urgency. The artwork captures a fleeting moment of creation. It balances the serenity of the deep blue with the aggression of the central explosion. The gaze is drawn toward the horizon where light and shadow collide in a vivid display of abstract motion.
Presentation
"My art is part of my modus vivendi with which I oppose the intervening elements which penetrate everywhere and anywhere, erupting the possibility with aggressive malice. I register on canvas the projection of perish and devastation. From the very get-go, I vehemently deny the everyday existence of things which, even if it has a sense or a purpose and serves lofty ideals, will, nevertheless, not interest me. I deal only with mystery." - Vahan Roumelian
