Description
A chromatic explosion takes over the canvas. The gesture is free. It is fluid. The acrylic spreads in superimposed layers to evoke an abstract floral landscape.
The eye circulates between touches of solar orange and shades of deep blue. Splashes of purple and green intertwine in a spontaneous movement.
The composition recalls musical improvisation. It does not seek figuration but pure expression. Nature becomes here a source of raw energy.
The generous format allows for a total deployment of the material. The lines intersect with precision and enthusiasm.
The balance of colors testifies to rigorous technical mastery. Each stroke captures the essence of a season.
This painting dates from 2026. It is composed of a generous application of acrylic pigments on canvas.
Professional painting of high quality with anti-UV protection and velvety finish.
The edges are painted in continuity with the work.
Signed by hand.
My works are mounted on stretchers when they go on exhibition or when they are sold, otherwise they are stored in the studio rolled up. See photos
Presentation
Emily STARCK is a French artist evolving in abstract expressionism guided by her deep emotions. Hypersensitive, she often needs to isolate herself from the world and noise, she recharges in nature, it is there that she mainly draws her inspiration. She likes to work with mixed techniques and is often recognized for her quality as a colorist.
She prefers to express herself on large formats, allowing for a fluid and uncluttered gesture. She paints directly on the canvas, on the wall or on the floor when the format is too large. Then, she creates a custom frame for the finished work. She likes to compare the abstract to a musical improvisation; there is nothing to guess, see, or recognize, just emotions to feel, which will echo each person's experience.
His works are exhibited in museums in Russia in particular, following his Plein Air residency at the Oldenburg Palace in 2017, and also in Greece.
