Karine Bartoli   Emerging artists

Karine Bartoli continues to captivate collectors and galleries with her luminous, figurative paintings inspired by Mediterranean light and everyday life. Her most recent works, featured in several curated group exhibitions across France and Italy, explore themes of memory, leisure, and the subtle interplay between figures and their environments—drawing increased interest from European and international buyers.

Based in Paris, Bartoli developed her artistic voice through a deep engagement with painting, cultivating a distinctive style that reflects both personal experience and universal emotion. Her compositions often depict serene beach scenes, quiet daily moments, and interactions between people and place—offering a poetic lens on contemporary life.

Strongly influenced by the sun-drenched atmosphere of Corsica and southern France, where she has spent significant time, Bartoli uses photography as a starting point. She then transforms these snapshots into textured, contemplative canvases rich in light and emotion. In an age of instant digital imagery, her commitment to figurative painting stands out, offering a slower, more reflective perspective.

Karine Bartoli’s work resonates with collectors seeking emotionally engaging, visually soothing art grounded in both memory and place. Her growing international recognition makes her a compelling figure in the contemporary figurative art scene.
