Description
Abstraction is expressed here by a play of deep contrasts. The ink spreads spontaneously on the paper. Shades of turquoise blue pierce a dark and dense mass.
The gesture is free. It guides the composition without constraint. Touches of acid green bring a vegetal light to the bottom of the composition.
The material seems to breathe. The contours remain blurry and organic. The fluidity of the ink creates subtle transparencies.
The balance rests on the opposition between the darkness of the center and the clarity of the white background. This painting of 2026 explores pure sensation.
The visual rendering oscillates between abyssal depth and luminous flashes. The artist's signature concludes the whole in the bottom right.
Presentation
From my life in Haute-Savoie on the shores of Lake Geneva to the Périgord Vert region where I settled in 2017, nothing predestined me for artistic creation. And yet, it was a part of destiny that led me to create my first canvases, and to want to do nothing else but paint, again and again.
A skills assessment helped me understand that art was the path to explore. The support process was lengthy because, being hard of hearing, I had lost all confidence in myself and my ability to achieve professional fulfillment. By instilling in me the necessary confidence to take the plunge, the artist within me was awakened!
A self-taught painter since 2021, abstract art naturally became my medium, thanks to the complete freedom it gives me to never restrict myself and to let my hand work. I paint spontaneously!
It is in the solitude of my studio that my canvases become what they decide to be...
