Description
This artwork depicts an imagined structure, emerging majestically from a dreamlike landscape. Dominated by shades of blue and brown, it evokes a maritime fortress floating on a mysterious sea. Textured vertical lines and silvery hues simulate sails billowing in the wind, accentuating a sense of continuous movement. The skillful interplay of light and shadow suggests an intriguing depth, while the touch of red at the apex draws the eye and creates a captivating focal point. Contrasting shades add a dramatic dimension to the whole, highlighting the harmony between chaos and stability. Every element of the work appears to be in constant flux, inviting the viewer to contemplate a powerful and enigmatic visual narrative.
Presentation
From my life in Haute-Savoie on the shores of Lake Geneva to the Périgord Vert region where I settled in 2017, nothing predestined me for artistic creation. And yet, it was a part of destiny that led me to create my first canvases, and to want to do nothing else but paint, again and again.
A skills assessment helped me understand that art was the path to explore. The support process was lengthy because, being hard of hearing, I had lost all confidence in myself and my ability to achieve professional fulfillment. By instilling in me the necessary confidence to take the plunge, the artist within me was awakened!
A self-taught painter since 2021, abstract art naturally became my medium, thanks to the complete freedom it gives me to never restrict myself and to let my hand work. I paint spontaneously!
It is in the solitude of my studio that my canvases become what they decide to be...
