Description
The gesture is primary here. The material imposes itself with a raw frankness. The artist is inspired by the work of the mason to sculpt the canvas. The relief becomes a language.
The gaze follows a circular movement. Concentric circles wind into a deep black. This whirlwind structures the composition. It creates a central point of tension.
The contrast is sharp. The pure white comes to border the darkness. Thick, almost tactile touches are scattered along the edges. They resemble organic imprints.
The texture is rich. It alternates between smooth areas and grainy areas. The work of the knife or the spatula leaves visible traces. Imperfection becomes an aesthetic element.
This diptych plays on symmetry and rupture. A vertical line separates the two sections. It creates a void that invites contemplation.
The whole evokes a form of material memory. Black and white confront each other in a precise balance. The surface presents a mineral and architectural aspect.
Presentation
It all began with a moment of revelation, on a construction site. The fluid and instinctive gesture of a mason applying the plaster caught my eye.
This imprint, left in the material, was a true source of inspiration. At that moment, an obvious thing became apparent: I had just found an artistic language that resembled me.
I have always drawn and painted, but I was missing a personal writing.
This encounter with the material gave birth to an approach where movement, texture, and gesture become the foundations of each of my creations.
My journey between fashion, interior architecture, and the arts, enriched by my travels and my sensitivity to cultures, deeply nourishes my universe. Each work is the reflection of this alchemy between material, emotion, and memory, where spontaneity of gesture and search for balance mingle.
Through my paintings, I seek to reveal the poetry of textures, the force of movement, and the elegance of imperfections, inviting everyone to a sensitive and contemplative experience.
