Description
Inspired by the graphic richness of Maasai necklaces, this work revisits their circular rhythms, superimpositions, and symbolic force in a resolutely contemporary abstract writing. The contrast between deep black, textured white, and golden flashes creates an elegant and vibrant composition, where material and gesture give relief and movement to the whole. A singular piece, at the crossroads of ancestral art and contemporary interior design.
Technique: mixed media and material work
Style: contemporary abstract art – textured art – gestural abstraction
Palette: deep black, off-white, metallic gold, and bronze shades
Atmosphere: elegant, mysterious, graphic, and luminous
Unique piece: original work made by hand
Presentation
It all began with a moment of revelation, on a construction site. The fluid and instinctive gesture of a mason applying the plaster caught my eye.
This imprint, left in the material, was a true source of inspiration. At that moment, an obvious thing became apparent: I had just found an artistic language that resembled me.
I have always drawn and painted, but I was missing a personal writing.
This encounter with the material gave birth to an approach where movement, texture, and gesture become the foundations of each of my creations.
My journey between fashion, interior architecture, and the arts, enriched by my travels and my sensitivity to cultures, deeply nourishes my universe. Each work is the reflection of this alchemy between material, emotion, and memory, where spontaneity of gesture and search for balance mingle.
Through my paintings, I seek to reveal the poetry of textures, the force of movement, and the elegance of imperfections, inviting everyone to a sensitive and contemplative experience.
