Woman After Bathing, 2014

Viktor Konotopsky

S1846

Oil painting Woman After Bathing Victor Konotopsky is an elegant figurative work that captures a quiet, intimate moment beside the water. A seated woman, wrapped in a light towel and wearing a warm-toned bathing cap, is portrayed against a harbor backdrop with boats, open water, and distant industrial forms. Konotopsky demonstrates strong artistic mastery through confident drawing, carefully modeled anatomy, and a refined understanding of color and light. Warm ochre, rose, and golden skin tones contrast beautifully with cool turquoise, blue, violet, and gray surroundings, creating a balanced and expressive palette. The artist skillfully combines portraiture with a coastal urban setting, giving the composition both emotional presence and narrative depth. Visible brushwork and textured paint add vitality, while the relaxed pose and direct gaze create a sense of individuality and calm self-assurance. This original oil painting is ideal for collectors of figurative art, female portraits, bathing scenes, coastal paintings, expressive realism, and distinctive fine art.
