Description
The Pop Art aesthetic is expressed here with an assumed graphic freedom. Two female figures occupy the space in an intertwining of black lines and colored blocks. The eye is immediately drawn to the striking contrast between the dark and blonde hair.
The line is spontaneous. It draws stylized silhouettes with red lips and blue-lined eyes. A dynamic composition where the text integrates into the painting as a structural element.
Acrylic brings an immediate intensity to the primary colors. The neutral background leaves room for the energy of the gesture, transforming the portrait into a visual celebration. This painting from 2018 plays on the codes of comic books and urban art.
The whole exudes communicative vitality. The final rendering emphasizes an instinctive approach to color and form. The artist's signature appears discreetly in the bottom right of the image.
