Description
The balance is established through a rigorous geometric composition. The gaze circulates between deep blue blocks and touches of solar yellow. White and black structure the space. Each shape seems to fit together with precision.
The work relies on a play of lines and contrasts. Acrylic paint brings graphic sharpness. The polygons are organized in a constant visual rhythm. This approach recalls abstract art where form prevails over representation.
The artist draws inspiration from a search for structure and clarity. The white background airs the canvas and accentuates the saturation of the pigments. The whole creates a controlled tension between primary colors and neutral tones.
This canvas, created in 2026, explores pure geometry. It is composed of angular segments that fragment the surface. The precision of the contours emphasizes a desire to rationalize the pictorial space.
Presentation
Ghislaine Chapuis now expresses her creativity by painting canvases inspired by the fluid acrylic painting technique.
This fascinating technique, in which she has trained, has opened up new creative horizons, giving rise to paintings of astonishing colorful effervescence.
This new artistic path follows a long creative journey that Ghislaine Chapuis began by training at the Centre Européen de Recherche et de Formation aux Arts Verriers in Vannes-le-Châtel, France, where she learned the "Glass Fusing" technique, which involves assembling pieces of glass at high temperature.
Perfecting her skills, the creation of decorative glass pieces gradually led her to create glass paintings, then to imagine acrylic paintings offering the possibility of larger formats.
