Where Stone Meets the Current is an original large beige and blue abstract diptych, created in 2026 as part of my Sculpted Waves Collection.
I created this diptych inspired by the fascinating relationship between water and stone. Over time, flowing currents transform solid surfaces, leaving graceful curves, delicate traces, and unexpected patterns. I wanted to capture this natural movement through two complementary compositions that create a sense of connection and continuity.
The sophisticated palette combines warm beige, sandy brown, taupe, ivory, and pearl white with slate blue, smoky grey, charcoal, and delicate turquoise. Subtle golden accents bring warmth and elegance to the composition.
Using acrylic paint, palette knives, brushes, and layered techniques, I developed sweeping forms, expressive textures, and fine linear details that give the paintings depth and movement.
This contemporary abstract diptych brings a sense of fluidity and understated luxury to spacious modern, minimalist, and coastal-inspired interiors.
