Description
“Morning in China” is like a breath of silence over the water.
A bridge, like an ancient memory, bends over a sleepy canal, where boats doze in the milky haze of dawn.
The light is still timid — it touches the water with silver and gently dissolves the outlines of the banks.
A lone boatman cuts through the smooth surface with a quiet stroke of his oar, as if waking the morning from a transparent dream.
Birds circle over the water, and the sky and the river merge into one boundless silence.
There is no bustle in this painting — only calm, the breath of morning, and a moment frozen between sky and water.
