About the artwork
Artwork sold in perfect condition
Jérémie Iordanoff is a French visual artist born in 1983. He exhibited for the first time at the age of 17, and passed an Applied Arts high school diploma (Nîmes, 2001).
He uses the traditional techniques of oil painting, watercolor and ink. His work is a poetic writing that focuses on color, line, form and pattern. Even though it is part of the continuity of the modern masters of abstract art, it will nevertheless seek resonances in the abstraction that is sometimes found in the tribal arts of Africa and America or in the art of ancient Rome.
It assumes a double dimension in the work of art, at the same time sensory pleasure and matter to think. After living in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Madrid (Spain), Paris (France) or even Gothenburg (Sweden), he now lives and works in Grenoble (France).
