Description
A precise study of geometry and silence. This 2021 C-print captures a moment of stillness within an educational setting. The composition is defined by a rigid horizontal structure. A grey facade frames large glass panes. Inside, the clinical white of the interior contrasts with the muted exterior tones.
Two figures appear as quiet anchors in the space. One stands in profile. Another leans forward. They are separated by the transparent but impenetrable barrier of the window. The image explores the boundary between public architecture and private concentration.
The light is soft and diffused. It flattens the perspective, turning the building into a rhythmic series of vertical and horizontal lines. This approach transforms a mundane scene into a formal composition. The artwork reflects on the intersection of everyday life and structured environments. It emphasizes the purity of the architectural frame and the honest depiction of reality. Every element remains balanced and deliberate. The focus settles on the pale brick base and the cool grey of the siding.
