When Idan Wizen began his project "Anonymous Naked in the Living Room" in 2009, he aspired to question the perception of aesthetics in our society. At that time, conceptions of beauty were narrowly limited to a uniform vision, embodied by retouched models in magazines. Wizen discovered that beauty transcends these boundaries, manifesting itself in a diversity of forms, in men, women, the elderly, through curves and many other aspects.

The project also addresses notions of modesty in a context of contrasting societal trends: on the one hand, the omnipresent and often unsolicited presence of pornography, and on the other, a revival of puritanical views condemning the mere exposure of the human body. Through "Genèse", the first collection of the project, Wizen invites us to reflect on attraction, on what seduces us in a being when all socio-cultural contexts, such as name, age or profession, are removed, focusing on what naturally pushes us to appreciate their presence in order to look at them, admire them and, ultimately, tell a story.

"Genèse" inaugurates "Un Anonyme Nude dans le Salon", an artistic initiative aimed at creating the largest photographic series ever conceived, representing humanity in its most natural state: its nudity and diversity. This concept of photographic art aims to bring together thousands of volunteer models of all ages and social categories to form an immense gallery of portraits of men and women of today. The collection, in its richness and the originality of each photograph, celebrates the universal beauty of the human being, defying the restrictive socio-cultural and aesthetic norms of our time.
