The bodegones are a pictorial interpretation based on a research project of the famous chef Juan Carlos Franco, on old food recipes of different periods in history. The photographer recreated the images inspired by paintings and images from these eras, also finding inspiration from artists such as Leonardo DA Vinci, Albrecht Dürer, and others.

This striking diptych masterfully captures the essence of natural abundance. On the left, five sun-kissed pears rest elegantly on a dark platter, their golden hues radiating against a pitch-black background. Fresh greenery artfully enhances their vibrant forms, casting gentle shadows that add depth and intrigue. On the right, an assortment of root vegetables is showcased with equal finesse. The vivid pink radishes, with their leafy tops, exude freshness, while creamy white turnips contribute an earthy balance. The arrangement extends vertically, complemented by a rustic pot, suggesting the culinary potential of the harvest. The dim lighting accentuates texture, creating a rich interplay of light and shadow that evokes the timeless beauty of classic still life. Together, these compositions celebrate nature's bounty, inviting viewers to appreciate the simple elegance of organic produce.
