This striking artwork features a surreal juxtaposition of a nude human form curled around a rugged rock, set against a soft pink backdrop. Above the figure, a lifelike fish floats mid-air, creating a sense of whimsy and wonder. The skin tones contrast sharply with the textured, earthy surface of the rock, highlighting the vulnerability and rawness of the human body. The fish, with its detailed scales and eyes, appears almost suspended in motion, defying the laws of nature. The pastel background adds a dreamlike quality, enhancing the overall surrealism. This piece explores themes of human connection to nature, fragility, and absurdity, effectively engaging the viewer with its bold, unconventional composition. The unique interplay of elements invites contemplation and challenges traditional perceptions of reality.
"La Piedra Sustituta" Series Showing a body that is hidden is the aesthetic apology for the insane judgment that the artist himself has taken as an excuse for not being "pointed at" or rather as self-pointing. The stone is taken by the body that is unprotected as a metaphor for the weakness that seeks protection, and the body is taken by the stone as a consequence of an insecure state, how can a stone take a body? If this is the one that "institutionally" does it.
