Description
Original screenprint by RNST, hand-signed and numbered by the artist.
Framed and under glass.
This intriguing work depicts a young girl with a spectral appearance, holding a small wolf. She stands in the middle of a dark forest, where the bare trees create an eerie atmosphere. Her bright red dress contrasts sharply with the dark background, accentuating her enigmatic presence. The girl's face is adorned with white makeup, evoking mortuary traditions or ancient rituals, adding a mystical dimension to the scene. The subtly directed lighting highlights the immaculate feline, perhaps a symbol of purity or omen. Behind her, the shadow of a wolf looms, enriching the painting with a palpable tension between innocence and menace. This work skillfully blends Gothic and surreal elements, captivating the viewer with its poetic yet sinister atmosphere.
Presentation
Street actor and screen-graffiti artist since the mid-1990s, fan of alternative cultures, RNST explores and has fun with urban art in forms as diverse as graffiti, poster creation, collage and stencils. From 2009 he officially reinvested in the streets around intense work with stencils and gluing of screen prints. His workshop is a street outpost in which he mixes recipes, colors and genres. RNST's speech and work are imbued with two constants: provocative and romanticism. This graphic activist reminds us that current events and public space must not escape us and this is where the artist comes to position himself.
