The magical artwork “Wave of Nymphs" captures the delicate, dreamlike movement of a female figure. Suspended between reality and fantasy, the nymphs are immersed in a mysterious depth of thought and emotion, reflecting the invisible currents of the inner soul. Every line, color, and layer of texture carries its own symbolism. They represent traces of life, moments of introspective meditation, and at the same time, a celebration of the fragile beauty of nature.
The technique of Jarmila Marčišová combines fine linear drawing, playful layering of textures, and ethereal color tones. The colors feel organic, as if emerging directly from nature itself. The interplay of light, shadow, and subtle transitions evokes the movement of water and gentle ripples. A sense of silence harmonizes with both melancholy and joy. The observer feels invited to dive into the depths of the painting, continually discovering new details and connections.
The work unites fragility with a profound inner experience, creating a hypnotic composition that calls the viewer to contemplation and introspection. The nymph appears as a guide, leading the viewer through a labyrinth of emotions, moods, and thoughts. It opens space for personal interpretation while inspiring imagination. It stimulates both inner peace and subtle restlessness.
“Wave of Nymphs" celebrates femininity and its connection with nature. The delicate details of the body, the graceful movement of hands and hair, and the soft shades of skin and fabric intertwine with natural motifs. The nymphs seem to grow directly from leaves, flowers, and water. The viewer has the impression of standing before a window into another world—dreamlike, mysterious, and hypnotic at once.
This artistic experience is further enriched by a limited edition of six pieces. Each work carries exclusive value and is the result of thoughtful craftsmanship and reflection. It unites technical precision with emotion and poetic expression. Presentation
Born in 1987 in Žilina, Slovakia Jarmila Marcisova devotes herself to drawing, freelance work and teaching.
Through his artistic activity, he captures Slovakian nature in an abstract form in his paintings, the color of which is reflected in the variability of the seasons. He creates a unique artistic opinion, develops the technique of structural drawing and uses the power of the naturalness of the material used. It also sets ambitious goals, how to touch the ideals of perfection, beauty, freedom or how to go beyond the horizon of the useful, everyday schedule of life.
