Description
Original color off set print on fine art paper by Heinz Mack, created in 1983.
The work is hand-signed and dated by Mack, in the middle below the image.
And numbered left under the image.
From a special limited edition off set prints, which were numbered and signed, as indicated by the word PLAKAT (lower right), the German word for poster.
The composition is characterized by a powerful vertical structure in luminous blue, framed by rhythmic rows of small white and pink elements. A blue field with pink and white horizon.
The repeated vertical marks create a vibrating optical field that seems to pulse against the dark background, producing a striking sense of light, rhythm, and spatial depth. The contrast between the intense ultramarine blue and the surrounding darkness enhances the sensation of radiance—an effect closely associated with Mack's lifelong exploration of light, movement, and perception.
