Description
Il motociclista is an original colored lithograph on paper realized by the Italian artist Giovanni de Simone in the 1970's and published by La Nuova Foglio publishing house of Macerata, as the drystamp reports on the lower right corner.
Representing a colorful composition with a motorbiker with his girlfriend riding his motorbike, is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right margin. This is a fine original print, numbered in pencil on lower left margin, a fine specimen from an edition of 100 prints.
A really fine contemporary artwork with an evident Picasso's influence is the right piece for every kind of furniture!
Giovanni De Simone, born in 1930, opened his studio in Palermo, Sicily soon after the end of World War II. He had worked and studied for a while under the direction of Pablo Picasso and Picasso's influence remained with him until he died in 1991, Giovanni had retired ten years earlier (1981).
