Stratos was born in 1953 in Avignon, France, son of Greek immigrants. His father was a tailor. At the age of 14 he started working in an architecture office and learn the aesthetics of this art. His creativity is infomed by this period in his life. His painting, his characters and his energetic colors have their origins in these early years: his yellows and reds and deep blue, his mothers, childredn, couples, musicians... They are all sources of life that he wants to share and spread the message of this generous artist. Stratos takes us into the magic world of childhood, colorful and serene, a universe with starry, flamboyant skies, full of characters that seem to reach out to us, metallic shadows that rise to the clouds in a kind of perfume that promises to make us happy.
