Description
In Bridge, Liang Binbin transforms the human body into a poetic landscape — a delicate passage between reality and dreams, between inner strength and absolute freedom.
A woman’s figure stretches gracefully above the reflective surface of water. Her body, suspended in an elegant and almost impossible movement, becomes a bridge itself: a connection between two worlds, between the earth and the sky, between the physical and the spiritual. The artist captures a fleeting moment where time seems to stop — the precise instant before the swimmer enters another dimension.
The polished mirror effect beneath the figure evokes the mysterious depth of water, but also the reflection of our own emotions and memories. It invites us to look beyond appearances, to dive into our inner world and rediscover the courage to move forward.
With extraordinary sensitivity, Liang Binbin celebrates the beauty of the human body not through perfection, but through movement, balance and emotion. The stretched posture expresses both vulnerability and power: the courage of letting go, the desire to overcome limits, and the freedom of following one’s own path.
is much more than the representation of a swimmer — it is a metaphor for life’s transitions. Every one of us crosses invisible bridges: between past and future, doubts and dreams, what we are and what we hope to become.
A deeply poetic and inspiring sculpture, brings into a collection a feeling of serenity, elegance and positive energy — a timeless invitation to believe in movement, transformation and new horizons.

Presentation
Liang Binbin is a Chinese artist living in Belgium. He was born in 1979 in Zhejiang Province, China. The artist grew up and did his studies at the Beijing Institute of Art & Design (Decoration Art department) in China.
Over the last 17 years, contemporary sculptures and monumental size installations in bronze and stainless steel have been made and widely exhibited in many galleries in China. Also he participated in numerous National and International exhibitions.
The work of Liang Binbin is magnificent because it bears witness to a very feminine and accomplished presence. It inspires, it inspires love… In addition, it is of great aesthetic beauty. His sculptures illustrate woman in a deep and magic moment of herself. Tenderly and proudly, she is in her thought, a meditation, a dream… Her mind blowing up to the sky forming an growing spirit that shines and touches our heart. The work of the artist is very introspective. Liang Binbin has made a place where this woman is in her own world. These moments can be very intense. Minutes can become hours and hours become years when we are in deep meditation. The rest of the world no longer exists and time takes on its full value. The luxury of this time that we want to offer ourselves... In addition, this emotion is very skilfully represented by the artist on the face of this woman where her face is in serenity, and in a deep happiness and tender love. Through it, our imagination can lead us to a lot of scenarios and stories,... or simply our own.
Liang Binbin sculpts fascinating, singular and unique figure, the synthesis of forms and thoughts, expresses the reality of life and profonde sensations and complex emotions of human being, aspiring to freedom and imprints itself for ever on our minds. What makes the artist unique is his perfection of the line, the body, the movement that reduced to the essential of human life that assuredly speaks to everyone at the very depth of their being...
