Description
This contemporary artwork is distinguished by its construction of stacked geometric blocks in bright, contrasting colors. Each layer, varying in thickness, features bold hues such as sky blue, vibrant red, and vibrant green, creating a dynamic visual effect. Psychedelic patterns and irregular lines reinforce the impression of movement and depth. The juxtaposition of horizontal and vertical blocks, with some hollow areas, gives the structure a fascinating architectural complexity. This assemblage plays with perceptions of stability and balance, evoking a sculpture on the verge of imbalance. The ingenious use of color and shape makes this a captivating piece, inviting the viewer to explore it from different angles. This work embodies a bold harmony between abstraction and rigid structure, marking a high point in modern and experimental art.
Presentation
Fabrice Lettron is a French self-self-taugh artist born in 1965 who lives & works in Montargis, France. He practices the technique of sculpted paper. It consists in gluing several thousands of small pieces of coloured paper manually, then compressing them and once dry, they are sculpted or machined. There is no painting. Colours are those from the paper. Fabrice Lettron creates surrealist and abstract works in 3 dimensions. The virtues of paper leave infinite possibilities to his imagination.
