Description
This intriguing sculpture harmoniously juxtaposes contrasting elements, juxtaposing a glossy black flow with a resplendent golden outpouring. The two flows rise in a fluid and dynamic dance, creating a striking encounter between darkness and light. White ribbons marked with an "OXOX" in black top each flow, adding a playful and contemporary dimension to the piece.
The fusion of materials evokes a mysterious alchemy, capturing the essence of opposition and unity. The bold use of gold lends a luxurious and precious quality to the work, while the deep black adds dramatic intensity. This powerful contrast evokes a subtle reflection on duality and harmony, engaging the viewer to explore the nuances of this singular and captivating creation. The smooth textures and flowing forms reinforce the movement and energy inherent in this masterful composition.
Presentation
In each sculpture, Sagrasse places a fragment of humanity, an emotion kneaded into the material, like a breath that crosses time.
Born in 1966 in Macerata, in the Marche region of Italy, Sagrasse has dedicated his life to sculpture for over thirty years. Driven by a constant passion for material and form, he has developed an artistic language that is both contemporary and profoundly human.
His works are exhibited throughout the world, in galleries, private exhibitions, and spaces dedicated to art. This international career reflects a recognition acquired over time, driven by the sincerity and strength of his work.
Sagrasse's creations address contemporary and universal themes : ecology, social ideologies, and the relationship between man and his environment. His sculpture thus becomes a space for reflection, where consciousness and aesthetics, questioning and emotion intertwine.
