Description
Presentation
Josselin Kayser was born in 1990, in the north-east of France in Reims. Already at a young age, he was passionate about street culture, music, art and skateboarding, which he practiced at a high level for several years. And when he wasn't grinding a ramp, he had a pencil in his hand. It was obvious that he first undertook studies in architecture, where his interest in the material was born, particularly stone and the buildings that are composed of it. He then decided to pursue training in stone cutting. He worked on numerous restoration projects for historical monuments such as the Cathedral of Reims, Châlons-en-Champagne and the town hall of Reims. Alongside his job, he began sculpting stone and marble at home, creating his first pieces, inspired by skateboard culture, his first sneakers were born, a Nike Janoski. The detail to put words, he decides to specialize in the theme of Sneakers exploring the diversity of the world of Hip Hop, profiling the effect of realism to perfection. Perfecting his technique down to the smallest details, Josselin Kayser combines with talent, hyperrealism, modernity and homage to the material.
