Description
The Filiformism artistic movement.
Theme: feminine essence, incarnation, time.
This captivating work presents a sculpted torso, striking in its fragmented appearance. Bathed in deep red hues, the bust appears both torn and resilient, suggesting a struggle or a tumultuous past. The background, a dark, textured wall, accentuates the contrast with the sculpture, focusing attention on its intriguing details. The torso's surface is intentionally rough and irregular, adding a tactile and visceral dimension. The torn portions of material lend a raw, almost carnal quality, prompting the viewer to reflect on themes of vulnerability and resilience. This piece is distinguished by its skill in combining the power of abstraction with palpable emotional intensity, creating a lasting visual impact and prompting deep introspection.
Presentation
The world passes through its stage as every being.
It all began with tearing, then isolation, and finally sweetness to allow my imagination free rein until my own fragility and that of the world around us appear.
My technique is rather original, it appeared to me, before, during and after having experienced this sensitivity that is fragility.
