Poisson Discus blanc et rouge - Série sculpture murale en verre, 2026

Sonia Caillon dite "Soñar"

This wall sculpture captures the essence of the aquatic world with artisanal precision. The glass, crafted using fusing and thermoforming techniques, brings a stylized discus fish to life.
The chromatic contrast is immediately striking. A luminous, opaque white occupies the center of the piece, while a deep red outlines the contours and fins.
Fine orange splashes are scattered across the fish's body. These bursts add relief and visual dynamism to the composition.
The transparency of the material allows the support to play with light. Each reflection emphasizes the fluidity of the shapes and the finesse of the glasswork.
The decorative approach transforms this marine animal into a graphic art object. The piece blends the tradition of fire and glass arts with a contemporary aesthetic.
The overall work is distinguished by a smooth, glossy finish. The fish's eye is marked by a dark concentric circle that draws the viewer's attention.
