Poisson Discus Orange et vert - Série sculpture murale en verre, 2026

Sonia Caillon dite "Soñar"

This wall sculpture captures the grace of a discus fish with artisanal precision. Here, glass becomes a play of light and transparency. The artist draws upon traditional fire-working expertise to shape this decorative piece.
The orange body dominates the composition. Yellow dots scatter across the surface, creating a light visual rhythm. Contrast is established with deep green fins, highlighted by yellow and brown strokes.
The fusing technique brings a subtle relief to the whole. Light passes through the material, revealing shifting reflections depending on the exposure. The aesthetic is directly inspired by the underwater world, transforming a wall into an aquatic window.
The balance of colors evokes the biodiversity of coral reefs. Every curve is crafted to suggest the fluid movement of the animal. This unique creation is distinguished by its brilliance and chromatic clarity. The object combines the rigor of worked glass with the spontaneity of the line.
