Description
Sculpture inspired by the words of Lao Tse.
No matter where you are, no matter what you are told to do. Whenever you have a doubt, rest for a moment and listen to what your inner voice tells you.
Do not rush on your way, nor follow in the footsteps of others. Sit and rest for a moment and listen to your inner voice.
This is the voice that seeks and guides you, the best advice you can hear, brings purity to your feelings and gives you the freedom to truly be the person you want to be.
Remember: All the answers you seek are locked in your clean and pure inner voice.
We make a pot from a lump of clay: and it is the empty space inside the pot that makes it useful.
We make doors and windows for a room; and it is those empty spaces that make it habitable.
Thus, while the tangible possesses qualities, it is the intangible that makes it useful.
Presentation
The central themes of his pieces revolve around reading. José Manuel, through his figures of geometric lines in unrepeatable scenarios, seeks to transmit various emotions with the reader. His creative compositions are mainly based on wood.
