Description
The energy of Pop Art is embodied here in a bold silhouette. This character with fluid curves adopts a relaxed posture, finger raised in a sign of peace. Intense pink dominates the composition. Its smooth, glossy surface captures the light with precision.
The artist draws inspiration from DJ culture and the effervescence of the 80s. They play with the codes of insolence to propose a modern vision of sculpture. The character's attitude mixes tenderness and provocation.
This piece, made in 2026, uses contemporary materials. Resin and epoxy paint ensure an impeccable finish and a deep sheen. The plexiglass base brings visual lightness, giving the impression that the figure floats above the support. The whole rests on a balance between technical rigor and creative freedom. The character's assured gaze and its accessories, such as the headphones, anchor the work in an urban and musical imagination.
Presentation
Fred Morgan, a French artist born in 1973 in Gap in the Hautes-Alpes region, creates a vibrant and intensely colorful pop universe where sculpture, painting, and digital graphic design intertwine. A rebel with a tender heart, he draws his inspiration from the rock and pop energy of the 80s, as well as the lively culture of DJs. His work subverts conventions, plays with insolence, and asserts total creative freedom. His most emblematic works, often inspired by the provocative "FUCK" motif, humorously and brilliantly question the role of expression and attitude in contemporary art.
An instinctive and resolutely modern artist, Fred Morgan imposes an immediately recognizable style, between assumed impertinence and chromatic joy.
