Description
This Pop Art sculpture captures the essence of contemporary insolence.
The piece features an iconic character boldly détourned.
The rabbit wears a deep, glossy red, emphasizing a provocative look.
The character's attitude, accentuated by a transgressive gesture, shakes up established codes.
Beside it, a bright yellow bag brings a marked chromatic contrast.
The whole rests on a sober base that stabilizes the composition.
The use of resin and epoxy paint offers a smooth and perfectly glossy finish.
The work with materials, including wood and plexiglass, guarantees impeccable structural integrity.
This 2025 creation plays on references to popular culture and luxury.
The silhouette is part of a stance of total creative freedom.
The visual rendering is characterized by reflective surfaces and saturated hues.
Presentation
Fred Morgan, a French artist born in 1973 in Gap in the Hautes-Alpes region, creates a vibrant and intensely colorful pop universe where sculpture, painting, and digital graphic design intertwine. A rebel with a tender heart, he draws his inspiration from the rock and pop energy of the 80s, as well as the lively culture of DJs. His work subverts conventions, plays with insolence, and asserts total creative freedom. His most emblematic works, often inspired by the provocative "FUCK" motif, humorously and brilliantly question the role of expression and attitude in contemporary art.
An instinctive and resolutely modern artist, Fred Morgan imposes an immediately recognizable style, between assumed impertinence and chromatic joy.
