Description
«THEORY OF THE UNIVERSE» Astian Rey 2022
School board, wood. 100х100х5сm (20 kg)
The school board symbolizes the beginning of a person's acquisition of knowledge about the surrounding world. But as the centuries-old history of mankind shows, science tends to change its canons and fundamental knowledge about the universe. Unfortunately, such changes sometimes cost the lives of pioneers. After all, entrenched thinking is often unable to admit something new, because this new thing can turn the world upside down. And can we be sure that modern knowledge fully reflects the truth?
The work is made from a found school board. The wheels inside are made of chipboard and recessed inside. The board is covered with varnish, and the circles are painted with gold enamel.
