Guillaume Allemand

France Born in: 1970
The visual artist Guillaume Allemand joined the music conservatory and followed a modern jazz training from an early age. Despite his attraction for art and his passion for nature, he became an ornithologist before becoming a visual artist.

All these influences are reflected in the work of the artist, who has been focusing on the work of the bones since 2002.
Which have been worked for millennia worldwide, this noble material has always been considered a symbol of life. Guillaume Allemand reuses this material in order to create abstract and pure works, which can be seen as leaning towards constructivism. His goal is to experience the ordering of space and the impact of light that gives life to his works. In each of his white or black monochromatic compositions, a shadow game is created by the use of various geometric shapes and the careful arrangement of the parts.

His work allowed him to get a reward in the contest of the young designers at the Atelier d'Art de France in 2004 and an award from the Art mural in the fall Fair in 2007.
