Little kitty | Pastel Symbolic Female Figure Artwork, 2026

Alina Razmakhnina

Tender female figure in a dreamy world of symbols. This mixed-media artwork on paper combines oil pastel, colored pencils, acrylic markers, ballpoint pen, and graphite in a light, spontaneous composition filled with movement and emotion. At the center, a stylized female figure emerges from a field of flowing lines, botanical elements, a heart, a star, and abstract forms. Soft lilac, pale yellow, green, blue, orange, and lavender tones create an airy, affectionate atmosphere that feels warm, intimate, and gently playful.

Rather than telling one fixed story, the artwork invites free association. The symbols remain open, allowing each viewer to build a personal connection through memory, tenderness, love, or quiet reflection. That openness is part of its charm: it doesn't overexplain, doesn't lecture, and thankfully doesn't behave like a motivational poster. The layered marks give the surface a lively, hand-drawn rhythm, while the simplified figure adds a sense of vulnerability and emotional presence.

This artwork is a strong choice for collectors looking for contemporary drawing, mixed-media wall art, symbolic figurative artwork, pastel artwork on paper, feminine contemporary decor, expressive modern art, and unique gift-worthy artwork for a modern interior. It works beautifully in a bedroom, creative studio, home office, dressing room, reading corner, or calm living space. It is especially appealing as a gift for someone who loves emotional, symbolic, and contemporary artwork with softness, color, and personality.
