Biography
French visual artist VAM oscillates between the archetypes of the feminine and the drifts of the Anthropocene.
Employing a variety of mediums – video, installations, sewing, photography, engraving... – she explores distortions of self-image through an intergenerational lens.
Her recent works focus particularly on the connection to the plant world, developing hypotheses of genetic mutation and human/nature hybridization.
She exhibits regularly in France and internationally.
