Biografie

Jayson ist ein britischer Gegenwartskünstler, der Malerei und Druckgrafik vereint. Er ist bekannt für seine Werke mit urbanen Szenen und ikonischer Architektur. Beeinflusst von japanischen Ukiyo-e-Holzschnitten und dem Konstruktivismus, bewundert Jayson die Werke von Katsushika Hokusai und Alexander Rodtschenko.
Er lebt und arbeitet heute in London und lässt sich vom pulsierenden Stadtleben inspirieren. Seine Vorliebe für Art déco und Bauhaus des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts bis hin zum Brutalismus der Nachkriegszeit prägt sein Werk. Charakteristisch für Jaysons Arbeiten sind die klare Komposition und die reduzierte Farbpalette. Er nutzt starke Licht- und Schattenkontraste, um Form und Silhouette durch klare Linien und großflächige, flächige Farben zu erzeugen.
