Description
“Trinity of Roses" is a vivid Modern Expressionist floral painting where Natalya transforms three simple roses into a dynamic burst of color, rhythm, and light. The composition centers on three bold red blooms — the “trinity" — rising from a luminous blue glass vase. Their swirling petals, painted with energetic strokes of red, pink, yellow, and white, create a sense of movement as if the flowers are gently leaning toward the viewer.
The stems and leaves, rendered in layered greens and blues, vibrate with expressive brushwork that gives the bouquet a sense of life and upward motion. Around them, spontaneous touches of color — turquoise, lime, ochre, scarlet — float across the soft peach background, echoing the artist's signature gestural style.

For Natalya, authenticity in art is fundamental. “Honesty is the only real language in painting," she explains. “If I don't feel it deeply, I can't put it on the canvas."
Her choice of bright, joyful color reflects this commitment. “Color is how I speak," she says. “Bright colors are emotion — not rules or theory. They show exactly what I felt."
Roses hold a special place in Natalya's artistic universe. They are her favorite flowers, appearing again and again across her body of work. “I never get tired of painting roses," she shares. “Every time I look at them, I see something new — a new gesture, a new light, a new character."
This recurring motif reveals how deeply she connects to their presence, their shape, and their emotional symbolism.
Natalya's approach is intuitive and spontaneous. She embraces movement, freedom, and expressive marks without strict rules. “I don't plan roses," she says. “They arrive on the canvas. I let the brush guide me."
That improvisational spirit is visible throughout “Trinity of Roses," where bold strokes and lively colors capture the immediacy of the moment.
She describes the creative moment behind this piece:
“I painted these roses as if they were glowing from within. Three felt right — a small harmony. The bouquet was simple, just sitting on my table. I enjoyed it so much that the painting almost painted itself."

Natalya is a contemporary french artist living in Lyon.
She was born and grew up in Kazakhstan, the country known for its spacious steppes.
She arrived in France 2003. Since that moment she loves her adoptive country.
She started painting in 2017 and used it as a therapeutic and emotional release during times of crisis. She incorporates this therapeutic approach in her artistic creative process till now.
In her artistic practice she refers to the terms of metamodernism, which proposes to look at the world from the position of the inner adult.
As an artist and as a woman she translates the experience of her personal search for balance based on harmony between mind, soul and body. This balance, in her opinion, is the pillar for the inner adult.
Important components of her work are authenticity, soulfulness, sincerity, emotionality and honesty. She immerses the objects and the characters in the world where there is no falsity, rudeness, loneliness and indifference.
She works rapidly and is constantly sensitive to the details.
Her artistic process is a fine balance between a pre-meditation and spontantainty which helps her to create her expressive atmospheric artworks with a modern touch of impressionism by cultivating a naive art approach.
