Fernando Bryce was born in 1965 in Lima. He studied at the University of Lima and in Paris and spent several years in Berlin. Today he is based in Lima and New York.

His ink artwork explores how historic events are reported by the media. He describes his work as a "mimetic analysis”, which sees him choosing articles, advertisements and essays which he rebuilds to create his own newspaper.
