Jean Levasseur

France Born in: 1935
Born in Le Havre in 1935, now installed in the countryside, Jean Levasseur likes to come back to paint the sea with the agitated waters and the changing sky. Regularly, he has an appointment with the Le Havre public, faithful of the gallery Hamon who has exhibited it forever.
"I am not tired of the seafront of Le Havre, from the entrance of the harbor to the beaches of Sainte Adresse", says the artist who likes to describe maritime life pleasure, with its sailboats and bathers.
