Photographie Mode

À ses débuts, la photographie de mode était recalée au simple statut d'illustration de vêtements de haute couture pour les magazines. Elle jouit aujourd'hui, et ce depuis peu, du statut d'Å“uvre d'art. L'histoire de la photographie de mode se nourrit de celle de l'esthétisme vestimentaire, et réciproquement. On la trouve aujourd'hui mise en valeur au sein de livres d'art, de musées, de salles de vente ou encore de galeries. La photographie de mode a de particulier le fait d'être avant tout un travail d'équipe auquel participent publicitaires, stylistes et mannequins. C'est une Å“uvre collaborative, comme le précise Karl Lagerfeld.
