Bianca Cassandre is a photographer born in New York and based in Paris, whose practice lies between documentary instinct and artistic abstraction. Working mainly in the street, she uses movement, light, and intentional blur to transform fleeting encounters into images that oscillate between the recognizable and the indeterminate.
Holding a Master of Fine Arts in Photography and Image-making from Paris College of Art, she sees photography less as a recording of the visible than as an exploration of perception and memory, being interested as much in what an image can suggest or leave suspended as in what it shows.
Bianca's work was the subject of a four-page report in the magazine, highlighting her distinctive use of intentional blur and movement. Her professional background also includes assignments around the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Her works have been exhibited at the Bastille Design Center, Les Frigos and The Muisca Gallery, as well as at DCS Contemporary in Karlsruhe, Germany.
