Biography
Born in 1978, Nicolas Buffe developed an early interest in Japanese culture, cartoons, comic strip and video games.
Nicolas Buffe has been living in Tokyo since 2007, where he continues exploring Japanese pop culture, that influenced his artistic work, based on a mix of popular culture and classical culture from different periods in time.
Exhibiting regularly between France and Japan since 2007, his works can be seen in contemporary international art fairs as well as in museums and art institutions.
