In my approach, I use both figurative painting and abstraction, in a great freedom of expression.

I work according to my inspiration according to my personal photographs, a sketch, a state of mind, my reading, an idea, my imagination. I approach the existential themes: life, eroticism, taboos, social inequalities,

by questioning me about the condition of Man, Woman, World.

It is by drawing from my personal experience that I try to address these themes. My Spanish origins, Black Africa where I lived, my adventures in many travels, across all continents, are superimposed.

I give a prominent place to the figure, sometimes to the detriment of the second plan. The portrait, the body are treated with compassion. The characters that populate my work appear as active subjects.

The material of the painting gives a presence, a certain sensuality, a strength while unveiling its fragility. The matter is spiritual. My workshop is a laboratory where I experiment, I search, I invent. I work all mediums: acrylic, oil, ink, I sometimes insert collages, words, drawing, deformations to gradually reach my personal writing. I play colors, superimpositions of them by successive glazes.

Start from an image and forget about it to see it reappear... transformed, do not know the way forward, imagine, compose something else, follow this new track, readjustment, dialogue with the web. To paint for me is to create a reality! Each work is carried by the movement of a real abandonment, an almost "trance" that allows to touch the movements of life.

In a form of letting go, it is the hand and the gaze that make. The painting seeks to thrill the heart of the one who looks at it.
