Portraits that emerge from real-life encounters. I paint from life and see the portrait as an act of attentiveness. Through time, conversation and observation, a space is created in which people become visible beyond their roles.

I am not interested in outward resemblance, but in a person’s emotional presence. Colour becomes a language that reveals vulnerability, strength and humanity.

In an age of fleeting images, these portraits invite us to look more slowly. What remains is the emotional trace of an authentic encounter.
