Biography
Jesaya Jerry Padang is an established artist from Sulawesi, Indonesia, who now lives in the art capital of Indonesia, Yogyakarta. He is a versatile artist and has successfully created art in various styles ranging from abstract and decorative to realism. In his landscape series, he takes ornaments from the Toraja culture, his native tribe in South Sulawesi, which talks about nature and combines them with crop circles that carry many environmental messages. His artistic process was influenced by Van Gogh, as well as the omnipresent art environment in Yogyakarta.
