Biography
Born in Gaza, Majed Shala is a member of the Fine Artists Association in Palestine. He is a founding member of Shababeek Group – contemporary arts. He has held several solo exhibitions, among them: “In the Presence of Nature," Shababeek Gallery, 2016; “Breathing Air" the Arab British Centre with cooperation with Arts Canteen, London, 2011; “A Bracelet from Gaza", Beirut, 2004; “Gaza the Nostalgia Place," the Village of Arts and Crafts, 2003.
He participated in the Summer Academy at Darat Al-Funun (2000-1) in Jordan. He also participated in several local and international exhibitions in Palestine and abroad Shala participated in the Cultural Biennale “Revolution and Cohesion," Cairo, 2011; and a workshop on “Sense of the Spirit of China," China, 2017.
