Vitoria Duarte is a Portuguese painter born in 1973.
She lives and works in Porto. She studied drawing, painting and fine arts and graduated from ESAP in 2003.
Vitoria Duarte creates oil paintings in a unique manner with dramatic coloring. The spectator is immersed in a whirlwind of emotions and torments, accentuated by the brushstrokes, which seem to highlight every single detail of the anatomy.
Without any doubt, her paintings have an effect on the spectator, who is torn between a vision of beauty or vileness and isn't able to choose between them.
Since more than ten years now, her work has been exhibited in European capitals and North America.Her work is also part of various public and private collections.
