Marta Pinilla (Soria, 1980).


Marta Pinilla is a multi-faceted artist with a degree in Biology and Fine Arts and a Masters' degree in Art and Science. 

In her artistic practice, she seeks to represent the brain and the universe, from a scientifical as well as emotional perspective, uniting the micro and the macrocosmos. 

Drawing is the starting point to get to installation, sculpture and performance. Her pieces mimic the plastic shapes of natural structures, from cell composition to neurons and tissues compounds.  

She lives and works in Madrid, Spain.
