Description
This striking artwork depicts an owl in mid-flight, captured in all its majestic splendor. The dark background highlights each meticulously drawn feather detail, creating a stunning contrast that immediately draws the viewer's eye. The feathers, finely detailed with shades of white and gray, illustrate the delicate texture of the bird's plumage.
The artist demonstrates a dazzling mastery of shading and lighting techniques, bringing remarkable depth to the image. The bird’s outstretched wings convey an immediate sense of movement and grace, perfectly capturing the fleeting moment of flight. The owl's piercing gaze, directed forward, evokes intense determination and focus, traits characteristic of this nocturnal predator.
Each line and shadow is executed with impeccable precision, showcasing not only the artist's talent but also a deep understanding of avian anatomy. This artistic representation is not just an illustration of nature’s beauty, but also a meticulous study of form and function, transformed into a work that captivates and inspires.
This piece is a celebration of wildlife, recalling the power and grace of the owl while capturing a fleeting moment with astonishing clarity and refined aesthetics.
Presentation
Art, for me, is an inner journey and shouldn't simply stop at the boundaries of realism, but rather cross that barrier and plunge us into the very heart of the imagination, of surrealism. We must appeal to the imagination, the impossible, the unreal through the phenomenon of pareidolia in order to captivate the viewer's attention. By employing pareidolia, or the art of seeing something else, a cognitive phenomenon combining the interplay of shapes, shadows, and light, Saâdi creates a kind of optical illusion that leads the viewer to linger over his canvases in order to understand what lies hidden within. Using pareidolia as an artistic and poetic tool, Saâdi draws us into his artistic universe where landscapes and figures intertwine. Surrealism remains his central theme, where feminine beauty echoes the beauty of nature.
Farid resides in France but exhibits regularly throughout the world (Japan, Belgium, France, USA, etc.).
